This morning at 0636 hours, Dunkirk VFD Truck 5, Ambulance 59 & Chief 5 were dispatched for the House Fire with a person trapped on Hunting Creek Road in Huntingtown (601 box).

Units found a single-story house with fire showing from several windows & through the roof. With numerous reports from bystanders that the resident was still inside, firefighters made an aggressive push knocking down the fire and searching simultaneously. During these efforts, the body was found of a deceased person. Units from the Dunkirk VFD operated on the scene for 3 hours.
