At 1215 hours Company 2 was alerted for a barn fire on Coles Adventure Lane in Company 5's first due. Engine 23 and Tanker 2 initially responded, units arrived on scene to find a large field fire threatening a barn. Engine 23 established a draft from a pond on the scene with the crew going to assist other units working.
Additional Brush units and Tankers were requested to the large rapidly spreading fire. The fire was declared under control forty five minute after dispatch. The barn and its product were unharmed. Units operated for approximately 2.5 hours.
