At 1527 hours, Area Box 6-01 was dispatched, for the possible barn fire at 2195 Hunting Creek Road. Engine 61 (Capt. Clark), Engine 62 (C. Cox), Squad 6 (S/O Montgomery), Tanker 6 (M. Hardesty), Brush 6 (T. Bevard), Jeep 6 (M. Lanier), Ambulance 69 (K. Katzer), Chief 6 (M. Clark), and Chief 6B (B. Thrasher) responded with 18 volunteers. Chief 6 arrived and reported fire showing from the Alpha/Delta quadrant, and established the Hunting Creek Command. Engine 61 arrived and deployed an attack line into the structure, and extinguished the fire, as reported in the A/D quadrant.
