At 1655 hours, Rescue Squad 7, Rescue Squad 1, EMS Station 79, EMS Station 19, and St. Mary's ALS were dispatched to the intersection of Three Notch Road and Sotterley Road for a Motor Vehicle Accident reported serious. Rescue Squad 7, Engine 72, Engine 73, Chief 7, and Chief 7A responded with 14 Volunteers on the Incident.

Rescue Squad 7 and Chief 7A arrived on location a minute after dispatch to find a single vehicle into a pole with the driver severally pinned. Chief 7A established the "Hollywood Command" and assigned Captain 7 as the "Extrication Group Supervisor" with Rescue Squad 7, Rescue Squad 1, Engine 72, and Engine 73. All units went to work removing the drivers door and roof. The driver's legs were pinned under the dash so units performed a dash lift to free the driver. The extrication took 30 minutes from the time of dispatch to complete. The patient was turned over to EMS on scene and transported to the Landing Zone.

Engine 74 handled the Landing Zone at the Station for MSP Trooper 7. The patient was turned over to Trooper 7 who transported to PG Trauma Center.

Command was terminated and all units returned to service at 1810 hours.
